History
The Outdoor Cinema Network (OCN) was developed in response to the
hundreds of people we've talked to over the years. From sharing
ideas about operating a successful outdoor cinema to providing basic
information to get started. All the information was collected over
time and we decided it was a good idea to organize and create a
place for all outdoor cinema operators to share their knowledge.
We began by hosting the first Outdoor Cinema in Colorado almost
10 years ago. This is just the beginning.
Mission
Our mission is to provide the largest online and off-line collaborative
environment for outdoor cinema operators all over the world. We
promote the socially positive use of our screens to educate and
inspire our communities. We will always provide the best resources
to drive the success of outdoor cinemas everywhere. We support independent
film makers by screening their work on our large collection of outdoor
movie screens. There will be more so check back often. : )
